Description
With the Porsche Top 5, we dive right in on what‘s worth watching on YouTube and Facebook. Every episode tells a unique story, in which we highlight a specific topic from the Porsche universe, ranking contents from Top 5 to Top 1. In some episodes, a narrator guides us through it, in others we use famous presenters and Porsche experts.
Execution
The first season aired on 7th February 2017. In a weekly rhythm the episodes were published on the Porsche YouTube channel and the Facebook page. We bridged the gap to season 2 with a bonus episode, directly referring to user comments.
The 2nd season aired on 6th February 2018. In this season, we mainly focussed on keeping a consistent way of storytelling. But still had a variance concerning presenters, actors and the car model range. This year, we extended reach through a cooperation with the car community “petrolicious.com” and by using Instagram stories to tease about upcoming episodes.
Outcome
With the two seasons we achieved 4.046.310 views on YouTube with a like to dislike ratio of 51:1. Even more impressive: on Facebook we reached 17.043.351 people, having 300.258 combined interactions on Facebook & YouTube. In total the community spent 221.378 hours with our videos. That’s more than 25 years. Which gets us to the next important part: the average Porsche buyer is 52.3 years old. We made it younger. The typical Porsche Top 5 viewer is just 27.8 years old. We are really proud that we could fulfill the targets and will continue with the good work in season 3.
