Description

It's a first-ever in multi-screen advertising: create an in-banner connection from your computer to your mobile device. Fans could test their finger-swiping skills by shooting a basketball from their phone into the hoop on screen. It wasn't easy, but the best players could share the game and their score on social media.

Execution

This was the first ever banner ad to connect your desktop to your mobile device. So as you're watching the game on CBS.com, the banner surrounding it would prompt you to connect to your mobile device by visiting a custom URL. Once connected, your phone delivered a real time shooting experience that took the ball from your phone to the screen (and hopefully into the basket.)

The banners garnered over 100,000 interactions!
