We wanted to create an ad that embodies and expresses Suzuki's personality; bold, playful and unexpected, whilst avoiding all the usual cliches you expect from the car category. Playing into the fact that Suzuki can be a bit of an unknown quantity, we created some fun, tongue in cheek folklore that blows up the proof points of Good Different, before landing the simple straight-talking truth; that we aim to give drivers everything they need as standard.
This fresh approach to a car ad allowed us to create unexpected and highly stylised scenes – like a giant listening device that allows Suzuki engineers to scan the airwaves for ' car jargon' and convert it into straight talking English to reflect our award winning customer service.
