Execution

To combat this rising homophobia in Russia we created hand-painted sets of Russian nesting dolls. They featured five gay British icons: Elton John, George Michael, Stephen Fry, Graham Norton and Tom Daley. Seven sets were auctioned online to raise money for the rights of the Russian LGBT community. The eighth set was sent To Russia with Love, to Vladimir Putin himself. The sets were sent to twitter celebrities like Graham Norton and Stephen Fry who tweeted our message and signed sets for auction.

Outcome

Lots of Love Tweeted by Stephen Fry and Graham Norton to their millions of followers. This helped us secure mainstream media coverage all around the world. With a net result of.
