The challenge was to find an artist that could blend a vintage graphical approach along photography in an unusual way. An illustrator from Bosnia, Zoran Lucic, was contacted to develop the graphic style. Zoran became well known with his "Sucker for Soccer" series of posters.

We gave Zoran total artistic freedom to design the posters as he saw fit. We provided him with the extensive photographical archive of Benfica and together we chose the best photo of each player. Zoran then came up with the design himself for each poster.

The entire series of posters was very well received and are in the Museum store for every visitor to purchase. The two posters we present were the last produced. The others featured great Benfica players such as Eusébio, Rui Costa, Preud'homme, Rui Águas and Chalana.

The Museum has been a huge fit and has received already thousands of visitors and it's a main attraction before and after every match at the stadium.
