Background

Hanwha, a global eco-friendly energy company, has produced a video familiar to everyone so that people can feel the importance of eco-friendly energy while being alert to the climate crisis.

"What color for tomorrow,’ produced as a fairy tale, depicts the climate change caused by mankind, animals suffering from it, and eventually solving difficulties with eco-friendly energy in the end.

Through this, Hanwha's brand philosophy of sustainability is effectively delivered to customers.

Idea

Hanwha's ‘What color for Tomorrow?’ was conducted in a collaboration with French animator Chaitane Converstat.

Characters and background objects were created using various material, and each scene of the animation was produced by moving one frame at a time by hand.

Through this, the appearance of animal characters overcoming the climate crisis with eco-friendly energy was expressed more vividly and dramatically.

Strategy

Hanwha played the video online in five countries, including Korea, the US, France, Germany, Australia, and Dutch.

It increases interest and engagement among viewers by airing over two minutes of animation film at movie theaters

Execution

This was mainly aired through YouTube so that the video can be watched more and longer through environmental interest targeting regardless of age.

Outcome

The image change after advertisement:

in contributing to building energy infrastructure as 79.8%

providing real solutions for sustainable growth as 77.7%.
