Raising children in post-war Vietnam was extremely challenging. Parents had to make many sacrifices, which they hid from them by telling harmless lies. These children are now adults, and culturally, are expected to care for their senior parents’ health and well being. Through five emotionally charged vignettes, they are reminded of everything their parents did for them, and of their unconditional love.
