Execution
Would healthcare costs plummet? Would personal happiness and pasta sales skyrocket? We commissioned a statistical analysis from researchers at UNC Chapel Hill to illustrate how the U.S. would change if everybody ran. We then brought the results to life in a visually stunning digital experience and a series of short videos.
Outcome
The campaign launch created the highest spike in visits to MizunoRunning.com of all time. In the month postlaunch, Mizuno’s Facebook fans grew by almost 20%, greater than any other competitor. The analysis has been featured by publications like The Huffington Post, Examiner.com and Refinery29. And Twitter impressions alone exceeded 24 million.
Strategy
Mizuno has a dedicated following of running junkies and shoe geeks – but getting the attention of more general runners isn’t easy. Or cheap. So we amplified our message of 'running transforms' by tapping into the emotion and imagination of runners at every skill level. We asked them all the question, “What if Everybody Ran?”
