Power Smart is a branch of BC Hydro, the electric utility of British Columbia.

Its goal is to encourage power conservation and educate the public on the importance of not wasting electricity. BC Hydro demonstrated that they practice what they preach by creating a series of motion activated backlit posters that only used electricity when people were around to see them.
