To contact directors, producers & creative directors around the world, we made a short film based on sound. The film is being presented in Short films & Advertising Festivals around the world just to show the juries the work of La Mayor.

Execution

The story is a sound story. There are no stock effects in the short film. Everything is real, "captured" by La Mayor technicians. The music is original and also made by La Mayor musicians. And every little detail of the movie depends on sound and was created to show you the sound design expertise of La Mayor.

Outcome

This short film is taking part of Festivals around the world. In each Festival, 10-15 juries are enjoying 2 minutes of La Mayor work. If you are reading this notes, you are considering this work and talking about La Mayor. So, it´s being a success.

Relevancy

This short film is a Direct action created to contact personally Producers, Directors & Creative Directors. We want them to know La Mayor work and to consider it as an option for sound post production. In Cannes Lions, we are enterin the short film in Direct, Film & Film Craft. In every Jury we are contacting important professionals we´d love to have as clients.

Strategy

We created a short film with a story based entirely on sound. It shows the relationship of a bird and his tree.

Every single second of the short film shows La Mayor work and capabilities to the target group: Juries of Advertising & Cinema Festivals.

Synopsis

La Mayor is the most important sound design studio in Uruguay. In 2017, La Mayor launched a new 7.1 sound studio, created to work for advertising and movies. The goal of the project is to work for international projects in sound design as uruguayan internal market is very small.
