The film was designed to work across a diverse set of markets and features vignettes designed specifically to appeal to specific national audiences. For example, handball is the fastest growing sport in Germany, while gaming guilds are increasing in popularity in the UK.

A series of highly art directed vignettes become living websites that demonstrate different categories of things that can be sold on Squarespace: physical goods, digital content, memberships to paid communities, classes and appointments.

Background:

Our brief was to unite Squarespace’s historic strengths in design with its more recent focus on ecommerce to demonstrate how a beautiful website can help sell both the things you expect (physical goods) and the ones you don’t (digital content, memberships to paid communities, classes and appointments).
