We took a radical approach and used autocomplete as the only interface.
Execution
The front page weight is 300 KB because we trimmed all the fat and perfected the core feature: autocomplete.
We created hundreds of unique queries, thousands of synonyms and deep semantic links. It's like talking to an AI. And it's permanently evolving.
Outcome
400 ms front page loading time.
Magical and surprising experience.
Dozens of page views per user.
Strategy
To build a website that doesn't look like an agency website. At the same time it must be an extremely useful tool for our clients, competitors and future employees.
Synopsis
All websites look the same. Especially true for ad agencies. The whole web is obese with an average page weighting more than original Doom install image.
