Cultural/Context information for the jury
This campaign celebrates female sporting presence and success in Italy, encouraging young women to stay in sport as statistics show there is a significant drop in teenage years due to social stigma, lack of access, safety and transportation issues, costs and lack of positive role models.
Tell the jury anything relevant about the direction. Do not name the director.
A celebration of Milano Culture, by Nike. Dynamic, sometimes raw and primal, and the camera always slick, considered and designed - cutting between many scenes and you feel it. But you also feel the craft and the fluidity of transitions - of colour popping between different set ups, and sliding from one to the next like a solid, slick trip. The aesthetic of the film is to support the motion, to heighten the emotion and to feel like some ante up. It's big and bold and unapologetic: a bombastic and confronting call to arms.
