In times of ever tighter public budgets, cuts are being made everywhere – unfortunately also in the arts. This has forced the State Opera in Frankfurt to look for creative ways of drumming up additional financial support.

CampaignDescription

The Opera is one of the few places where powerful emotions can still develop, and wonderful moments experienced which enrich our lives. The mailing delivered a little foretaste of this emotive mix in order to solicit donations from large corporations located in the Frankfurt area.

Outcome

This mailing was sent to a hundred selected companies. Three of them allowed themselves to be guided by their feelings and agreed to provide the Frankfurt Opera with long-term financial support. The mailing won a Silver Caples Award and Silver at the German Dialog Marketing Award Show.
