Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet was Apple’s first comedy series to launch on the service. The show comes from creators Rob McElhenney & Charlie Day, known for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the longest-running live action comedy in the United States. Our goal was to center the campaign around Rob McElhenney’s character Ian Grimm as the king he perceives himself to be within the video gaming empire. The art depicts Ian raising a shovel over his head while riding a mammoth raven, referencing Raven’s Banquet, the highly anticipated video game his company Mythic Quest is releasing in the series. Our goal was to be dramatic as the fantasy genre appeals to the gamer audience, but we also wanted to have fun with it as we were selling a brand new workplace comedy.
