Description
Disney princesses have been inspiring girls since 1937. Today, their messages empower girls to set their sights on something truly great: their futures. In this video series, we took the words of 11 princesses, and featured them in a campaign consisting of 11 posters and 11 commercials to encourage girls to be their best, follow their dreams, and achieve their goals.
Execution
Our campaign consisted of 11 animated videos and 11 posters, each bringing to life an inspirational quote by a Disney Princess. Each video was illustrated and scored in a modern interpretation of each Princess’ movie. Similarly, each poster used a bold, graphic interpretation of each Princess’ iconography. In total, the campaign combined the charm and beauty of Disney artwork with the powerful, motivational quotes to modernize the Disney Princesses for a new generation.
Outcome
Disney does not disclose results and impact. We do know, however, that the campaign was adopted at the global level (beyond the initial national audience), and converted into an interactive experience at the parks. Through our own social listening we saw a great deal of engagement at this experience.
