Background
Skyn is an intimacy brand (condoms, lubricant, toys) and as other intimacy brands, talking about sex (even for educational purpose) on social media is complicated. Platforms like Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, posts talking about sex are censored.
There is a lack of sex education for young people who are now learning from porn websites, leading to misbehaviors, violence, and bias about men and women relationship.
It is important to deliver the right message on the right platform to educate youth about intimacy.
Idea
On the International Orgasm Day, we asked a well-known streamer on Twitch, to challenge her friends on GeoguessR, a game where you have to guess where you are on Google Map.
Only in this part, the places to guess were all related to the clitoris: Bulb Street, Mount Hood, Crura Lane, Shaft road and… Mount Clitoris.
We've released a collection of printed material to explore pleasure : a vulva map, orgasm notebook, body exploration poster.
Execution
We've created an Exploration Kit containing :
- a vulva map
- orgasm leaflet
- exploration notebook
- exploration map
Visuals showcasing the clitoris as a geographical map, graphical gradients to symbolize the orgasm reach.
Outcome
Skyn’s exploration page immediately got +5800 visits during the Live on Twitch. Reactions were all positive. Viewers asked for more sex education contents like this.
The Exploration Kit helped to create a conversation about orgasm gap and sex education with the Twitch audience for 2 hours.
