Innovate-or-Die.com took the simple principles of a bicycle, and turned them into a vehicle for global change. A joint initiative from Specialized and Google, the site staged the first Innovate or Die Pedal-Powered Machine Contest and simultaneously introduced a new family of Globe commuter bikes, both aimed to help cool our planet one pedal stroke at a time. In three short months, 102 potentially earth-changing and life improving inventions were engineered and entered into the contest.
