OVERVIEW

Description

The spot opens on a surreal Dali-esque set, with our host, Martin Starr, welcoming viewers to the “No Pressure Zone.” It feels real yet mystical. He introduces everyone to a sitar-playing Goat named, Karl. Martin establishes his main premise—that time is construct of human emotion. He continues that time is “an illusion,” represented by a quick camera trick and visual metaphor that shows a shrunken version of Martin trapped inside an hourglass. He cries for help. Cutting back to the real Martin, he explains there is no pressure to get a great rate on a hotel, because rooms are “available for unlimited time, always” in Hotwire’s “No Pressure Zone.” Martin wraps up, stating that travelers can feel free to “Book now…or don’t….No pressure.” We cut to the end card and logo lockup.
