Description

WWF-India is a charitable science-based organization that addresses issues such as the conservation of species and its habitats, climate change, water and environmental education, among many others. For over five decades, WWF-India has been working hard towards spreading awareness and sensitising people about the nearly extinct animal species of the world.

They want to target everyone with the power to save or help save the earth.

And most importantly the young blood of India who will shape our future. WWF-India wants to ask the world to save their planet before exploring another. Save the lives on #EarthFirst.

Execution

The world is filled with endangered species of animals, many of which can be found in India.

Each execution showcases endangered species from India - red panda, blackbuck and lion-tailed macaque. The illustrations are made with simple curves in a minimal colour palette. Strong identifiable features of the animal have been captured in each execution. The colours are inspired from their habitats and the actual colours tones of these animals. The twist in the tale is interestingly managed by tweaking their noses to look like an alien’s face.

Outcome

WWF-India sparked a new conversation with a fresh perspective on the value of life on earth. WWF-India sensitised people on the loss of life on earth, questioning the space race beyond earth. Hundreds of young minds in colleges and zoos saw the campaign and followed #EarthFirst and WWF-India on social media.
