In October 2002 fashion designer Stella McCartney partnered with ABSOLUT to create an interpretation of the ABSOLUT bottle in an advertising campaign called ABSOLUT STELLA.
The campaign debuted on October 22 in Women’s Wear Daily; and was followed by other magazines. On October 17, a website was launched and a gala party took place at Los Angeles’ legendary hideaway, the Chateau Marmont. Those who couldn’t make it to Marmont are invited to take a virtual tour of the event at absolut.com/stelladirect , which features a unique interview with Stella as well as designs, facts and images from the ads and the launch event.
ABSOLUT STELLA is produced in cooperation between Springtime and Projector. Springtime is the lead agency for the Absolut Company’s external Internet communication and projector is a webagency.
