Background

The Covid-19 pandemic changed everything for the BETC HAVAS agency. It had to rethink its approach to work and find ways to preserve its culture while addressing the challenges of remote work and isolation. The agency needed to create a space that would attract people to leave the comfort of their homes and come back to the agency. The BETC Havas Cafe project was designed to address these challenges. Its objective was to create a unique experience environment that would encourage people to work, relax, meet, and enjoy unique experiences. The project involved redesigning a four-floor signature building and one garage on the most remarkable fashion street in São Paulo, Brazil, to gather entertainment and experience. The project aimed to reconnect people with creativity and preserve the agency's culture while strengthening client relationships.

The strategy involved redesigning a four-floor signature building that embodies the Vivendi Group's mission, the group BETC HAVAS is part of, to gather entertainment and experience. The BETC Havas Cafe project aimed to create a welcoming and versatile space where people could meet, work, relax, eat, drink, and enjoy unique experiences. The project involved architects, designers, and chefs to create a place where people want to stay, be inspired, and feel cared for. The BETC Havas Cafe project involved transforming the home office into an Experience Office that addresses the challenges of remote work and isolation during the pandemic.

Experience & Implementation

The BETC Havas Cafe project had a creative impact on clients,employees, and other stakeholders by creating a welcoming and versatile space where people can meet,work,relax, eat, drink, and enjoy unique experiences.The initiative made a material positive difference to people's lives/work by offering a new way to rethink the relationship with clients and the trade.The BETC Havas Cafe project involved architects,designers,and chefs to create a place where people want to stay, be inspired, and feel cared for.The BETC Havas Cafe project involved transforming the Home Office into an Experience Office that addresses the challenges of remote work and isolation during and after the pandemic.

We also partnered with M.Ad School of Ideas(former Miami Ad School)offering the most current in the creative industry with an exciting schedule of lectures,workshops, and courses.

We’ve promoting quality and inspiring events(talks, trainings, workshops, tastings, lectures,parties,media roadshows and conversation circles with special guests always aimed at inspiring creativity in all media and formats.

Clients from the agency's portfolio are integrated into BETC Havas Cafe through the activation of their brands in the menu and environment.

We run from time to time institutional media campaigns including OOH,social media,print,and digital besides PR efforts,to promote the Café to general audience.

Business Results & Impact

The BETC Havas Cafe project has yielded impressive results since its launch in 2022. Here are some of the key results:

• The largest agency in Brazil in media investment, according to Cenp-Meios (April 2023)

• Top Rated agency by clients by SCOPEN (Dec 2022)

• Four new brands won since the opening, including the largest international bank in Brazil: Santander, Extra, TIM Digital, and InDrive.

• 23.8% decrease in turnover

• 83% approval in "Pleasant Workplace", according to HavaSay Survey

The project's success can be attributed to its ability to create a unique and inviting space that promotes creativity, collaboration, and social interaction among employees and clients. The BETC Havas Cafe project has helped strengthen the agency's relationship with its clients and positively impact employee morale, productivity, and turnover rates.

The Cafe's location on the most fabulous fashion street in São Paulo makes it easily accessible to the public, who are welcome to enjoy its many offerings. The project's success has been attributed to its ability to connect with the local community and promote a sense of shared purpose and belonging.
