BriefExplanation
energy4everyone, a non-profit foundation, works with companies in the Canadian energy industry to support the delivery of affordable, reliable and sustainable energy to communities that need it most. They have recently completed their first year and wanted highlight all they had accomplished.
ClientBriefOrObjective
The main objectives for this report were to showcase the work the organisation had accomplished to date and showcase the positive impact Canada’s energy industry can have outside of their day-to-day business objectives. While people are quick to associate food and water with aid, they’re much slower to make associate energy with aid, but for many it’s almost as vital.
Effectiveness
To date, E4E has helped over 22,000 people and their work continues. The report has created increased awareness of the organisation within Canada’s energy sector, and showcased a link between energy and life many take for granted. We hope that awareness will enable the organisation to help even more in the years to come.
Execution
When creating the report we focused on the connection between someone’s access to reliable energy and their quality of life. Reliable access to energy can improve life expectancy, infant mortality and economic security. To convey this relationship, we created a report with a perforated black overwrap that when broken reveals the bright and vibrant report content - literally, taking the reader from darkness to light. We then focused on 3 distinct projects to provide a human angle to E4E, without showing many of the images those in the Western world are so quick to dismiss.
