When she opened the door, it was her neighbour Lucy Mouse. ‘Hello Lucy Mouse’ said Mary. ‘Hello Mary Mouse’ said Lucy, ‘I’ve got a nice, moist muffin. Would you like some? It’s still warm! It was exactly what Mary felt like, so she asked Lucy Mouse in and ate her muffin right there in the hallway.
