The Nissan Product line has been refreshed to the point that existing and previous owners may not even be fully aware of the robust offering of trucks, cars and SUVs. The objective of this mailing was to demonstrate how Nissan has evolved into a true competitor in the marketplace, with a vehicle to fit any need or life stage. It was to be sent to two highly targeted audiences: households likely to add another vehicle to their garage, vs. replacing a vehicle. And disposers who previously owned a Nissan, but left the brand.
Outcome
Due to the recency of the mailing, sales conversion results are not yet available, however Nissan North America was thrilled with the package and its ability to provide just the right amount of information in a beautiful package to entice consumers to consider Nissan before looking at the competition.
Solution
By embracing the brand umbrella SHIFT_ ; using high quality textured paper, beautiful photography and rich colors; and memorably positioning each model in both headlines and copy, the mailer was designed to romance the audience just enough to trigger interest in a second Nissan or a second look at the brand.
