Write a short summary of what happens in the film

"No More Mayo" is a short documentary covering the evolution of a marketing stunt produced by Miracle Whip.

Miracle Whip endeavored to take on their largest condiment competitor, mayonnaise, in a fun and quirky way. They partnered with the small town of Mayo, Florida to officially change their name to Miracle Whip, Florida.

As time progressed we realized we weren't the only stars, we were sharing the stage with the good people of Mayo, Florida. To many this was just a marketing stunt, to the residents of Mayo is was so much more.

Mayo is like too many small towns in America, it's struggling. It's overlooked. And for a few days, their town was the center of attention. People came from miles to visit the Miracle Whip water tower, and the locals got to show off their small town pride.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

Some helpful things to note are: small towns in America (like Miracle Whip) are on the decline. A variety of issues face these towns, but they are still a tremendous source of pride for many Americans, especially amongst those that consistently consume Miracle Whip.

Miracle Whip, as opposed to mayonnaise, is also seen as an "American" condiment. So the activation received overwhelming positive attention as it was seen as an American brand supporting and bringing joy to a small American town.
