Write a short summary of what happens in the film
Ever thought that the goings-on in the House of Commons sometimes resembles that of a noisy zoo? You're not alone. This advert shows you just what it would be like if the politicians were replaced by an animal counterpart.
Cultural/Context information for the jury
The United Kingdom are obviously under going political turmoil with the uncertainty of Brexit. The advert was aired a month before the deal is to go ahead so it is a particularly tongue-in-cheek viewing for the audience here.
Tell the jury anything relevant about the direction. Do not name the director.
Initially my brief was coming up with further appropriate metaphors; the ostrich with its head in a pile of papers, the sheep mindlessly filing into position, the dog chasing its tail, and the rats deserting the sinking ship were some of the ideas I introduced. Next it was about crafting a sequence that was engaging to watch and brought all these thoughts together coherently. Then there was the considerable technical challenge of how to film it and finally overseeing all the post production.
