OVERVIEW

Effectiveness

More than just a business card, we created a communication tool that is both representative and renewable.

Cortina Verde is now able to creatively re-use waste materials around their office, whenever they need new business cards. And, probably the most important, they leave a more powerful impression on their clients.

Execution

Instead of printing regular business cards and using paper, we produced a stamp for each member of the NGO, with their contact info on it.Then, we used the stamps on different waste materials found around the office, and we recycled them into business cards: package cardboard, subway tickets, old business cards, office supplies package, and the list could go on.Together with this set of eco-friendly business cards, we gave Cortina Verde the stamps, to that they could continue to produce new business cards whenever needed.

Strategy

Cortina Verde ("The Green Curtain") is an NGO that promotes ecological art.

They needed business cards that would reflect their values: respect for the environment, integrity, creativity. "We aim to promote eco-friendliness in everything we do, from our most important projects to our business cards" – they told us.Their target: corporations, journalists, artists with an ecological agenda. The idea we came up with was relevant both for Cortina Verde and for their target, because it represents a "demo" of what the NGO can do: instead of using resources, everything can be made out of recycled materials. Even business cards.
