Background
”Revs Your Heart”, the brand slogan of YAMAHA Motor.
The word “Rev” has a meaning of running up engines, and we put our hope of offering our customers such exciting moments into our slogan.
On the other hand, the slogan has not been spread among our workers as much as we expected, and we are hoping to make them more aware of the word “Rev”.
Besides, in Japan the public concern regarding health has been growing during recent years, and certain data show that the issues about which workers complain the most are stiff shoulders and lower back pains.
Execution
We announced the message from the director of the exercise on the office broadcast and displayed posters and banners in-house.
The tutorial video, BGM and pamphlet of the exercise were posted on the website to also encourage people outside of the company to enjoy our stretching exercise.
We also attempted to improve motivations of people both in-house and outside of the company to practice the Rev Stretch by quantifying its effect on the participants’ minds and bodies based on the survey of our employees, and delivering the result through the in-house newsletter and news release.
