Write a short summary of what happens in the film.
In each Slow Turkey execution, an animated turkey symbolizes easing into quitting smoking instead of quitting "cold turkey." He throws away his last cigarette(s) and then goes on to live life as an ex-smoker.
Tell the jury the animation / visual effects used and summarise any relevant challenges or techniques.
Real turkeys are kind of unsightly. So we needed to create a CG bird that was fully realistic but more appealing than appalling. We played down the icky parts, finessed the face and honed the overall body shape. But the biggest challenge was the feathers. There are more than 4,000 reticulated feathers on your average turkey that move individually and as a network. New simulation tools were invented to manage how they move and react to things like water and wind. And because our turkey was set to appear in almost every second of every execution against hi-res live-action backdrops, hyper-reality and detail were basic requirements. In the language of animators, there was nowhere to hide.
Describe any restrictions or regulations regarding Healthcare/RX/Pharma communications in your country/region including:
All Rx advertising in the United States contains a “fair balance” of product benefits and risks and must be consistent with the drug's prescribing information.?The FDA wants to ensure that patients fully understand the safety risks associated with any medicine.
Describe the target audience and why your work is relevant to them.
Smokers aged 35-54?who have made multiple failed quit attempts. They are open to an Rx and have spoken with their doctor. While these smokers are committed to quitting, doing so?right away seems scary.?Slow Turkey?communicates that quitting with CHANTIX is different because they can ease into quitting.
