We wanted to increase the number of orders in the delivery and stimulate Dominos´ sales in one of the moments that match best with pizza. The movie hour.
Implementation
To stimulate the sales of Domino´s in one of the moments that best match with pizza. We made a partnership with video rentals and marked DVD´s with thermal ink and aromatic varnish. While the person watched the film, the DVD heated up in the player. By the end of the film the disc came out warm, just like a pizza that had just left the oven.
Outcome
In only two weeks of action and the production of 1000 DVDs, we achieved a significant increase in pizza orders. A number well superior to the result of a traditional direct mail.
Relevancy
With this action we were able to increase substantially the number of delivery orders, besides impacting new clients, without needing a high investment in media and production.
