Write a short summary of what happens in the film

A sequence of Etna's products, showcased as a catalogue, being narrated by a professional beatboxer. In less than a minute, we are able to see more than a hundred offers. In the end, we invited the audience to discover the other thousands of products at Etna's stores.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

Brazil is all about music and celebration. Therefore, jingles are often used as an easier way to speak to the audience. To make a radio spot that would not be ignored by the radio listeners, we created actual songs respecting the audience preferred rhythms, techno based songs and Brazilian funk music, popular choices all over the country.

Tell the jury about the creation of the original music track.

Using exclusively the products’ descriptions, we created lyrics with the help of a beatboxer. Instead of random sounds, we’ve used the product's names as the beats. The unprecedented outcome was built through trial and error, finding which words and metrics had the best fit with the original beatbox techniques. We used only voice effects - and no musical instruments.
