In only two weeks of action and the production of 1000 DVDs, we achieved a significant increase of 8% in pizza orders. A number well superior to the one of a traditional direct mail.

Execution

To stimulate the sales of Domino´s in one of the moments that best match with pizza, we made a partnership with video rentals and marked DVDs with thermal ink and aromatic varnish. While the person watched the movie, the DVD warmed up in the player. By the end of the film the disc came out heated up just like a pizza that just had come out from the oven.

Strategy

We wanted to increase the number of orders in the delivery and stimulate the sale of Domino´s in one of the moments that match best with pizza. The movie hour.
