BriefExplanation
Talwar Bindis is a young and upcoming bindi manufacturer in India. To gain popularity and favour amongst the masses, the brand had been seeking ways to be talked about. But, budget constraints prevented them from carrying out expensive advertising campaigns, they needed a far more effective approach.
ClientBriefOrObjective
Rural Indian women do not get their daily requirement of iodine. The brief, therefore, was to devise a non-intrusive method of giving these women their daily requirement.
Execution
Because the end users were rural women who weren’t in the habit of consuming iodine supplements, we examined local customs and traditions to conceive an idea that delivered the daily requirement in the most non-intrusive way.
Almost every Indian woman wears a bindi - a traditional symbol of beauty.
We realized that these tiny little dots could do more. That they could save lives.
Hence, the Life Saving Dot was born – an idea that transformed bindis into iodine patches.
