Brief: Australia has a huge problem with people littering streets with chewing gum, staining the surface and creating a bad public image (especially for the gum manufacturers).Solution: Hubba Bubba created posters that encouraged people to help clean up the streets. The “paint by numbers” style posters used different flavours of chewing gum as the colour palette, encouraging people to stick on their used gum to create an artwork, rather than throwing it on the ground.Location / Scale: The posters were put up in the streets around bus stops, train stations, schools and Universities.
