Effectiveness

The number of traffic accidents in the places with these bigboards decreased to 0 during the time of the campaign.Calls to the driving school grew 3 times.

Execution

We created bigboard-sized examination papers (typical for the driver's license test), which described concrete traffic situations in the place where it was installed. Answering the question, drivers and their passengers could come to know the rule of driving in this very place.

The answer was printed on the reverse side of the bigboard the way it could be read in rear-view mirrors.

Strategy

About 63 000 traffic accidents happened in 2008 in Ukraine. The most common reason? Ignorance to the rules of the road.

Driving school “Osvita-Auto” wanted to attract the attention of drivers and passers by to enforce the importance of knowing and following the rules of the road.We decided to place bigboards with questions from the driver's license test right in the place where traffic violation was most likely to happen. The traffic situation of concrete road was depicted on the bigboard and installed right on the road. People get real visual aid on traffic situations in the place where it is so necesssary. Probably, it is the best driving rules lesson they have ever had.
