Write a short summary of what happens in the film.

This is a narrative story in which we see two global brands come together. Harnessing Disney IP, the story of 'The Heroes' is brought to life with a broad range of animation and mixed media techniques, bringing colour and depth to each character. The various visual styles of VFX & animation create a unique and original palette, with each character maintaining the look from the medium they came from as they journey into the comic book store, be that t-shirt, comic book, poster or collectible statue.

Background:

To bring illustrated & sculpted Marvel heroes to life, and seamlessly embed them in the real world of a comic shop - telling a dramatic story whilst retaining a unique look for each character based on the medium they originated from: comic book, t-shirt, or collectible.

With dynamic camera work and physical interactions, we decided the base of each character had to be CGI. To maintain authenticity, we used traditional 2d animators, illustrators & painters throughout the process to add hand-made elements into scenes. This approach allowed us to bridge the worlds of comic book art & high end CGI.
