A story dedicated to parents and children in the world on Father’s Day.

As seen through the eyes of a father and the eyes of his daughter, the double-sided story of their lifetime with cars captured from two different points of view will offer you a new perspective of what it means to be father and daughter. What is the true feeling behind those loving eyes?

In Japan, father’s day is not as popular as mother’s day.

However, once the movie was featured by various news media, the heartwarming movie gained public attention and made this year’s father’s day special.

Father’s view (everything below happen from father’s point of view)

On a sunny holiday.

We see hands putting a “Baby in Car” sticker on car window.

As the camera turn back, we see a young mother holding a baby girl.

The baby stretches her hand toward the camera.

Hands gently hold the baby and put her in the child seat. We see the hand quietly turn on the car engine and start running.

5 years later. Winter

A little girl is seated in the backseat. She is suffering from a fever. Worried mother is sitting next to her trying to wipe the girl’s sweat. A hand reaches to the car radio to lower the volume.

3 years later. Summer

In the parking lot, the little girl stretches her hands toward the camera to pass a tool to change the tire of the car.

Now the girl is a junior high student.

She is now seated in the front seat and waiting for a train to pass. As a hand reaches for a shaver, the girl gives a disgusted look to the camera.

Various things happen in and around the car that show the girl is growing up, and finally she leaves the house.

The girl is now 24 years old, and ready to get married.

At wedding ceremony, the girl in her wedding dress says something to the camera and cries.

At a later date.

POV of a car. Hands putting on a “Baby in Car” sticker. The camera shows the same girl holding a baby.

Tagline : I’m your father.

Daughter’s view (same scenes as the father but from the POV of the daughter.)

On a sunny holiday.

We see the back of a man sticking something onto the car.

As he turns back, he comes to the camera and says “Oh, you woke up”

Serious look on his face as he tries to put the baby in the child seat.

Now sitting in the driving seat, he turns back and smile to camera.

5 years later. Winter

From back seat, we can see the father lowering the volume of the car radio.

3 years later. Summer

The father stretches his hand to catch a tool to change the tire of the car.

Years later.

In the front seat of the car, we see the father shaving his face while waiting for a train to pass. As soon as he turns toward the camera, it looks away.

Various scenes in and around the car that shows the father getting older.

We see a handwritten letter. The envelope says “To my Father”

At wedding ceremony, the father nods as he receives the letter.

At a later date.

Camera shows the father sticking something onto the car.

As he turns back, he nods to the camera.

Tagline: I’m your daughter.

In the car, father and daughter look at each through rear view mirror.

Then suddenly, the car in front of them stops. Their car stops automatically. The father looks at his daughter and grandchild. The daughter smiles back to him. It seems everything is fine.

Love works Invisible. Toyota works love.
