BriefExplanation
A leading distributor of pharmaceutical products which operates across Spain needed to publish its annual report. It’s been 5 years since they replaced the printed copy with an interactive CD-ROM. However, the impact of this CD-ROM had diminished considerably and it was time to find a more personal way to reach their pharmaceutical clients.
ClientBriefOrObjective
This year they sought a low-cost solution which they would implement alongside a more comprehensive online annual report and which would be modest yet striking.
Effectiveness
The annual report was widely distributed to over 3,000 pharmacists and members. This play on their own product meant that they would keep the report and refer to it in a very intuitive way, like opening a patient information leaflet and being able to access the information at a glance. This proposal changed the opposing views about publishing the annual report in print format as the company realised that this attention to their accounts and results was also an expression of the same care they take with their own management.
Execution
The proposal was to fit the annual report into a small container, an idea inspired by a simple box of aspirin. The content of the report was done in the standard information leaflet format using 60 gm folded paper. The balance sheets and information were reproduced in a single ink.
