This way, instead of the typical agency communication saying that we are number one, better on this or that, we just changed peoples mind using a truth on an online campaign composed by 10 webmovies, where we made fun out of the "english style", showing the market that we are actually more spanish than they think.
Outcome
The campaign has reached more than 50.000 people (views) on the spanish market, and all over the world in just 3 weeks. Posted on the cover of every advertising magazine or blog, and becoming number one toppic on advertising in Spain. And we were already invited for some pitches. In just 3 weeks.
Strategy
Ogilvy and Mather has a new positioning on the Spanish market (including the name that changes from Ogilvy Bassat to Ogilvy and mather). Known locally as and old fashioned english agency , the agency launched a branded campaign, targeting the local market in order to change this preception with humor, using a strong local insight that is: not one spanish person knows how to pronunciate the name of this agency here.
